The State Housing Authority wants to help those South Carolinians who can make a mortgage payment but may not have been able to save any money because of high rents.

How Do I Apply?

You can apply for a State Housing mortgage loan at Carolina Financial Resources. Loans are reserved on first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. Here are the steps to take:

Locate a home you want to buy, within your income and State Housing price limits. Carolina Financial Resources can help you with this at no extra cost! Call them now at 864.235.4881 and get started looking for a house.

Get a Purchase and Sale Agreement on the home. Ask a CFRINC representative about how to do this also.

You’ll need copies of your last three income tax returns. You can not close on a loan without these.
